    Asheville

Hat: H&M Scarf: ALDO (similar) Top: Zara Pants: Zara Boots: Nordstrom Rack Bag: Kate Spade Sorry for being so MIA these past few weeks. Colin and I went to visit China for a few weeks, then when I got back, I started a new job! So, I’ve been really business! This coming week I will be posting about our trip so keep an eye out. Yesterday, we went to Asheville to look for new furniture. I’ve been in my apartment for about 8 months and I am still looking for furniture to fill it! I found a nice dresser in the discount section of West Elm, which I was able clean up and look its original price, and…

    Downtown

I purchased these boots in the summer and am so happy I finally get to wear them! Coming from such a small town, you never saw anyone wearing heels unless there was a formal event. Ever since I left school and moved, I take every chance I get to wear some type of heel.  These boots are super easy to dress up or down. Biltmore

Last week we went up to the Biltmore estate to experience the candlelight tour. I have visited to the Biltmore a couple of times in the past year and I still enjoy walking the house and grounds. I must admit I was a bit disappointed when it wasn’t an actually candlelight tour (most of the rooms were lit with more than just candlelight). However, the Biltmore never ceases to amaze me and I still enjoyed walking from room to room to see the different christmas decorations. I did not do the audio tour this time, as I would have been in the house for hours, but if you get the chance…

A few weeks ago Colin and I went to Charleston to visit his family. I never get old of this city, there is always something to see around the next corner. Which is why, I always beg Colin to go on a bike ride or walk just around the neighborhood. There is a lot of history in this city and the houses around it. The houses are painted in every colors imaginable and have great character.  Each time we are here, the weekends never seem long enough to go everywhere we want. We try to always go on the second Sunday of the month, so we can stop by the farmers market (in warmer weather) and second…

    Fall is in the air

Went for a nice walk to day and I am in love with my new Jessica Simpson heels!  They are one of the best purchases I have made in a long time! Every girl needs a pair of camel colored heels for Fall.  Have you ever seen one of these take a book, leave a book houses in your town? I think they are the coolest little things. I almost always find a book I have been dying to read in them.  They always seem to have books for all ages too. This one had old sewing books, magazines, children books, and a lot of books I was interested in. It…

    First signs of Fall

I have never been into Boyfriend jeans, but I do find them attractive on some girls. I have had this pair for a few years and never took them out of my closet. Some days I think of an outfit that would go well with boyfriend jeans, but once I get up and put them on, I immediately think what a bad idea it was. Haha.  I just must not have the body shape to make them look as good as most people. However, I did find this pairing to my liking, a big sweater is never a bad idea.   Sweater: H&M Pants: Old Shoes: Forever21
