Finally, Sweater Weather
This cold weather has seriously come out of no where! I usually don’t mind the cold temperatures and sometimes wish it was colder in the winter. However, these past few days have been frigid! I don’t even want to leave the house. Of course, these images were taken before the temperatures dropped, so there was no need for a coat. I have been stocking up on skirts and sweaters this season, because they mix so well with other items. There is actually a funny story about me trying to order a gray skirt for the past 2 months. I’ve ordered this skirt twice and still don’t have it! The first time,…

The Last of Summer Temperatures
Fall temperatures have finally come! It’s still a bit warm during the day, but I don’t see that lasting too much longer. I LOVE this yellow top! It has to be one of my favorite items I’ve purchased in the past month. I wear it so much! You might be able to tell from all my Instagram images. I think I like it so much because it transitions to Fall so easily. The colors and the long sleeves make it perfect for Fall. Other yellow tops I love:

Bright Yellow Top
I did not get enough use out of this yellow top during the Summer. I’ve recently been thinking the same thing about a lot of my clothing from Summer. After moving I’ve been trying to go through my clothing and get rid of/organize and it is so hard!! Plus, I pull out pieces I have only worn once or twice. Mostly dresses, but I can not get rid of them because I feel bad! (haha crazy, I know) So this winter I’m going to try to buy more versatile clothing I can wear over and over with different looks and even bring into the Spring. Focusing more on my accessories 😉 (that…

The Pearl Skirt
I was going through some of my old photos and realized there are a lot of outfits I have yet to post on here, and there are so many I want to share! This skirt was one of my favorite items from last month. I love the pearl details this jean skirt has and it goes with just about anything. It makes a plain black top interesting. However, I am a master at getting white dirty! When I looked at this skirt the next morning it was definitely off white. It almost looked like I did my makeup and rubbed my hands all over my skirt, seriously. This exact skirt is…

Last Minute Fourth of July Ideas
Still don’t have anything picked out to wear for 4th of July? Why not wear what you already have in your closet?! Fourth of July has to be one of the easiest holidays (besides St Patrick’s day) to dress for. You only have 3 colors to choose from and they all work well together. It’s pretty hard to mess up. It’s also one of the causal-est (I know that’s not a real word, but oh well). Almost everyone is going to be headed to a backyard BBQ and not to a formal get together, so why not dress like it? I own almost every single clothing item in…

Florals For Summer
Well, I finally received my external hard drive back and can start posting blogs again! If you don’t know, my external decided to die a few weeks ago. It had ALL of my blog photos and the past 5 years of my life on it. I paid a crazy amount to get it recovered and didn’t even recovery half of the photos that were there before. 🙁 Don’t be like me and ALWAYS, ALWAYS, back up your files. ANYWAY…. I’ve been obsessing over florals this summer. Florals are the easiest print to dress up without much work. They automatically make an effortless look appear like you spent hours getting ready. When…

Basics You Need For Your Closet
Is anyone else really excited about the new Game of Thrones trailer as much as me?!?! 🙂 I CANNOT WAIT! Anyway, this is an outfit that showcases some of my favorite versatile basics I keep in my closet. Everyone should have their go-to items when they are having a bad day and cannot decide what to wear. On these days, I love a pair of slides or loafers with a neutral colored top. They really do go with just about everything, while still looking effortless and chic. They are the perfect basics for anyone’s closet looking to improve their style with not much effort. Here are a few of my favorite basics below:

Striped Blouse and Pleated Sleeves
Happy Friday everyone! This week has differently been a busy one and I welcomed the weekend with opened arms. I find myself this season trying pieces I normally wouldn’t be attracted to. I’m usually pulled towards more neutrals and blacks. However, when you are in such a colorful place you cannot help to put a little color into your pieces. This red and white striped blouse was perfect for spending the day walking around Charleston. Plus, I cannot get enough of these white mules. White is perfect for the spring and lightens up any outfit you plan to wear with them. Check out some similar tops and mules below. The Jeffrey Campbell’s…

The Fishnet Tight Trend
Since it doesn’t seem to be going away anytime soon, I decided to give the fishnet trend a try. I honestly thought it was one of those trends I would never be able to pull off and it wouldn’t last long anyway. However, when shopping online I needed one more item to receive the free shipping. It was the perfect excuse to buy a pair and try them out. When I first received them, they sat in the box for months because I just wasn’t sure how to style them. After I took them out I realized how easy they go with almost anything! I first tried them under jeans and I LOVED the…

Flowy Tunics For Changing Seasons
Once spring hits, a majority of my shirt choices change to flowy tunics. They are so perfect for the changing weather and I’m surprised I don’t see more people wearing them. Especially since it still feels like Winter most mornings, then summer in the afternoon. You can leave your house in long sleeves and pants, then as the day warms up you are still comfortable because of the light loose fabric. Keeping it in a natural color also allows you to be professional and will also look good with jean shorts at the beach. I also wore this tunic with a faux leather shirt and fishnets, it was perfect for a night out…
