The perfect tree

Charleston pt. 2
To tell the truth, I originally bought this sweater dress thinking it was just a chunky sweater. But I guess that’s what I get for not wanting to try anything on! Personally, I hate trying clothes on it the store, especially during the colder months when there are three layers to take off! However, I am loving how this look turned out. I’ve also been loving these over the knee boots lately, I’ve been wearing them almost every chance I get! Maybe a bit too much 😉

Little black dress
I cannot believe it is still warm enough for me to wear this little black dress. It’s crazy how the weather has been this year. Some mornings it is freezing when I wake up and others it feels like summer outside. The night I wore this dress it was very mild, almost too warm (this dress is very thick material)! I am in love with this off-the-shoulder top! I was surprised when I saw it was from H&M at first because it is such nice material and chic. Plus, you can wear it with just about anything. Firmoo
I never wear my glasses anywhere. I usually keep them by the bed and they never leave from there haha. I am a contacts girl all the way. Bright & back from Europe
Well I am back from Europe and have fallen in love with another country. I was only gone a total of 7 days, but it was well worth it. I take every chance I get to travel, because you never know what will happen in the future. I once drove 14 hours with friends to the Keys, just to spend the weekend there, because I wanted one last vacation before I started my job. Wet Weekends
I love this type of weather, where it’s cool enough to wear a jacket, but it’s still not hot enough to make me sweat on my way into work. haha (These days are rare here, I usually enter work looking like I ran 10 miles!!). Jackets for the season
Wow, this past week has been crazy! I’ve packed up and moved to a bigger apartment and it has been super stressful with work added in. However, I am excited to fill my new place with furniture and decorate it. Before I hardly had any room to do anything! I’ll be sure to do a post once I have my place decorated. Recycle Winter to Spring
Spring might as well be over here, it is burning hot during the day. Last weekend it was almost impossible to stay outside wearing pants. One minute it is pouring rain, then the next it feels like the desert. As much as I love the warm weather, Spring and Fall will always be my favorite seasons for fashion. They are the only seasons you can wear just about anything in the south. This was the first day I had to search the back of my closet for shorts. Lose button downs
You can never go wrong with a lose button down. At one point my closet was filled with over 15 different types. They are perfect for any season, in the spring you can wear them with a fitted jean and slip on, while staying cool. When it turns to summer, you can wear them with shorts and still look effortless put together. I grabbed this one from asos when they were having a sale and it is easily one of my favorites.
