The Slip Dress
Even though I work in the City, I hardly go visit it on the weekend. Sitting in traffic everyday really puts you off wanting to go back to a place. haha. Anyway, there isn’t much open when its not a 9-5 weekday. The city its self is made up of mostly corporate offices and apartments. So, the other weekend Colin and I parked and just walked around the city a bit. I’ve actually never adventured to this side before, but it was super cute. I love looking at all the different houses, mostly because I am only dreaming of the day I own my own. This day was a bit warmer than…

Beat the heat
I am in love with this off-the-shoulder top! I was surprised when I saw it was from H&M at first because it is such nice material and chic. Plus, you can wear it with just about anything. Here I did a super causal look because the weather in Charleston is almost unbearable in just about anything but shorts or a dress. Shop the look below!

Firmoo
I never wear my glasses anywhere. I usually keep them by the bed and they never leave from there haha. I am a contacts girl all the way. I think it’s mostly because I have never found a style I liked enough. I also cannot stand when I have to get a new pair, going to the store and trying on a million pair. I recently ordered a new pair from Firmoo and I love them! The process was definitely less stressful and you can do it from your living room. PLUS, just look at the prices! I usually pay at least $200 dollars for a new pair and they…

The Romper for Anything
Summer is the season for wedding events, everywhere I look it seems like someone is getting married. This is an outfit I wore to a wedding shower last week. This romper was perfect for a summer party and even more perfect that we were going to the lake after. I was able to dress it up with a duster vest and heels. Then, when the party was over and we headed to the lake and I could wear it over my swimsuit. I love wearing romper’s in the summer, it is so easy to look put together without much effort! Bright & back from Europe
Well I am back from Europe and have fallen in love with another country. I was only gone a total of 7 days, but it was well worth it. I take every chance I get to travel, because you never know what will happen in the future. I once drove 14 hours with friends to the Keys, just to spend the weekend there, because I wanted one last vacation before I started my job. Everyone kept telling me how crazy it was, but it turned out to be one of the best trips I have every taken. Once I have had time to rest up, I will post some pictures…

Lose button downs
You can never go wrong with a lose button down. At one point my closet was filled with over 15 different types. They are perfect for any season, in the spring you can wear them with a fitted jean and slip on, while staying cool. When it turns to summer, you can wear them with shorts and still look effortless put together. I grabbed this one from asos when they were having a sale and it is easily one of my favorites. It’s a great color for the spring/summer months and the material is super soft and cozy. 🙂 Shop some of my favorite button downs from asos below: Follow

Simple Saturdays
I’ve spent the weekend being pretty lazy. It was such a crazy week, my boyfriend and I didn’t even get to celebrate our 3 year anniversary together. We didn’t even feel like going out when to weekend came around. He did get me a nice Daniel Wellington watch though 🙂 We are hoping to go out and celebrate before the end of this week. A simple tank, jeans, and nikes are my go to outfit, when I just want to hang around and relax the rest of the day. Shop some of my favorite tanks below:

Fringe for Fridays
I’ve been mixing my winter and spring looks, to get the most out of my winter clothes before I have to pack them away. This dress was definitely a winter one, it was sleeveless, but thick and a turtleneck. It was perfect for a cool spring night to a new restaurant in town. I recently picked up this cardigan from H&M. I don’t usually buy much from them, but every once in awhile I find something I fall in love with there. They have a few nice embroidered pieces as well that I have included below. I thought it was a nice funky piece I could add to a plain dress.…

Spring is here!
The weather has been unbelievable nice outside! There is still that one day that turns the winter during the week and I have to pull my sweaters back out. I am so ready for summer to start, so I can put all my coats and jackets away for good and clear up some space in my closet. I recently ordered these heels from Asos and they are the perfect sandal for spring. I can wear them with just about anything and they work. The tassels just add the perfect touch!
