This is our second year cutting our own tree and living together for the holidays!! I hope we can keep up this tradition up, because we both enjoy it.  Last year we picked out the perfect little tree for our small one bedroom apartment (trust me, it was small!). This year we spent a good while finding one we thought would be small enough. However, when we brought it inside and opened it up, it was huge! We knew it was too big the second we stood it up and it hit our 9 foot ceilings :O I spent at least 2 hours trimming the tree to make it appear somewhat smaller. haha. Plus, I had to go out and buy another 50 ornaments, so it didn’t appear so bare. I wanted to have the tree in front of the window, but it seriously took up the whole wall and half the living room and I knew it wouldn’t work. We finally decided to rearranged our living room and stick it in a corner…maybe next year I can have my tree in the front window 😉
