The Grove Park Inn

See, huge fireplaces!

Views from the Blue Ridge Restaurant

“Smokey” because of the wild fires

Have any of you ever been the the Grove Park Inn!?! If not, you need to make a trip tomorrow for real! Especially during the holidays when everything is decorated and beautiful.

This was our second year making a trip to the Grove Park Inn to enjoy Sunday brunch with Colin’s parents. It never disappoints, it seriously is the best brunch I have ever had! Plus, it is a buffet and I never even have enough room to taste everything in the restaurant. I am still dreaming about the food 🙂

After brunch, we always spend some time walking around the hotel. Everything is super festive and there is even a life size gingerbeard house they serve hot chocolate out of! Plus, there are two HUGE fireplaces that warm the lobby all day. This hotel is truly a mountain get away. If I didn’t already have a place to stay when visiting Asheville, I would definitely try to stay here. On the backside is an amazing view of the mountains, which you can enjoy while walking around the halls and going into all the different shops of the hotel.
