    The Last of Summer

Cannot believe Colin and I have less than a week before we move! Also, cannot believe how great this weather has been. After going through my photos, I realized, I have many looks from Summer I never shared on the blog. I’m going to share a few in the upcoming weeks until Fall weather is officially here to stay. In other news, I’ve been on the lookout for a pair of black boots for Fall but haven’t found any to be what I am looking for.  I feel like every year at this time I am always looking for black boots! But I still haven’t found the perfect pair. Haha.…

    Target – Who What Wear

When traveling I try to pack as light as possible, I usually only pack the needed clothing and nothing extra. However, when we were visiting Buffalo we were invited to a dinner I didn’t plan for. I knew exactly where I wanted to go and I never turn down an excuse to buy new clothes 🙂 I remember Target recently released the Who What Wear collection and it was decently priced. I was pretty limited on what I could pick out because they hardly carry my size. However, I found pieces I could wear for multiple occasions that fit and looked great.   Here are a couple of other pieces…

    Blue Striped Dress

Happy Wednesday! Here are a few images from a couple weeks ago. I’ve been sharing a lot of them already on Instagram, but keep forgetting to include the whole look on the blog! I’ve also been playing around with different photo editing styles. I’ve been spending the last hour trying to decide if I should start using them on the blog or not. I skipped it for this set, but hope to share some of them in my next post! You can find my Dress Here

Our visit to Watkins Glen State Park

Our time in New York was pretty short and busy, but we wanted to fit in as much as possible. Our second day there we woke up at 5:30am and headed toward the finger lakes. They were about 2.5 hours away and we needed to be back in Buffalo for a dinner at 6pm.  But I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to see Watkins Glen. It has been on my list for some time now and we were going to be so close to it! So, we rented a car for two days and crammed everything outside the city into it. The ride out there was so beautiful and most of…

Life update – We are building!

I’ve posted a bit about it on Instagram stories, but I have yet to officially share it on my blog. Colin and I are building! I am writing this as we head out to look for furniture and decided it was a good time to share our update. We are less than two months from completing the build and we are getting more and more excited each week! Colin and I started our search in February for a house.  We were tired of renting when our money could be going to a house. First, we had to decide what city we wanted to live in. At the time, I was working in…

    The Pearl Skirt

I was going through some of my old photos and realized there are a lot of outfits I have yet to post on here, and there are so many I want to share! This skirt was one of my favorite items from last month. I love the pearl details this jean skirt has and it goes with just about anything. It makes a plain black top interesting. However, I am a master at getting white dirty! When I looked at this skirt the next morning it was definitely off white. It almost looked like I did my makeup and rubbed my hands all over my skirt, seriously.  This exact skirt is…

Last Minute Fourth of July Ideas

Still don’t have anything picked out to wear for 4th of July? Why not wear what you already have in your closet?! Fourth of July has to be one of the easiest holidays (besides St Patrick’s day) to dress for. You only have 3 colors to choose from and they all work well together. It’s pretty hard to mess up. It’s also one of the causal-est (I know that’s not a real word, but oh well). Almost everyone is going to be headed to a backyard BBQ and not to a formal get together, so why not dress like it? I own almost every single clothing item in…

    Florals For Summer

Well, I finally received my external hard drive back and can start posting blogs again! If you don’t know, my external decided to die a few weeks ago. It had ALL of my blog photos and the past 5 years of my life on it. I paid a crazy amount to get it recovered and didn’t even recovery half of the photos that were there before. 🙁 Don’t be like me and ALWAYS, ALWAYS, back up your files. ANYWAY…. I’ve been obsessing over florals this summer. Florals are the easiest print to dress up without much work. They automatically make an effortless look appear like you spent hours getting ready. When…

Our Trip to the Florida Springs

Right before I fell into the water You can’t really tell, but the water below me is about 15 feet deep. Devil’s eye   A few weeks ago, Colin and I both took a Friday off and decided to head to a place we’ve been wanting to visit for awhile, the Florida Springs. We left after work on Thursday and headed down to the middle of nowhere Florida. When we arrived it was two in the morning and pitch black. We had no clue where to go, so we found a spot inside the park and camped for the night. We woke up super early and headed to the springs. It was…

Basics You Need For Your Closet

Is anyone else really excited about the new Game of Thrones trailer as much as me?!?! 🙂 I CANNOT WAIT! Anyway, this is an outfit that showcases some of my favorite versatile basics I keep in my closet. Everyone should have their go-to items when they are having a bad day and cannot decide what to wear. On these days, I love a pair of slides or loafers with a neutral colored top. They really do go with just about everything, while still looking effortless and chic. They are the perfect basics for anyone’s closet looking to improve their style with not much effort. Here are  a few of my favorite basics below:
