    “My Fancy Shoes”

I wore these shoes the last time I went home and my grandmother called them my “fancy shoes”. Now, that’s what I think about every time I wear them. I love the pop of color these loafers add to this otherwise simple look. When I added these shoes to my closet, I realized I own a lot pair of loafers. Seriously, they are my favorite style of shoe and so comfortable. Shop some of my favorites below.

Sharing my Favorite Wrap Tops for Spring

Wrap tops I love Spring is officially here, even if it doesn’t feel like it. Colin and I took these photos weeks ago, one random weekend when it was warm. I really thought it was going start warming up, but I was so wrong! It hasn’t been warm since that day. Colin woke me up one morning and it was snowing outside, I couldn’t believe it! We usually only get one or two days of snow here and we have seen a few this year. Seriously, where is spring? It hasn’t stopped me from buying a lot of spring clothing, even if I’m not able to enjoy them. Over half the items…

Iceland Part 4: Silfra snorkeling, Aurora Borealis, & Reykjavik

Be sure to check out the rest of our trip to Iceland Part 1  |  Part 2  |  Part 3 Finally, part four of our Iceland trip! This post will cover our last 3 days in Iceland up until the time we left. Our fourth day in Iceland, started out early again. We left our hotel around 9:30 and I was really hoping to see it in daylight. It never got bright enough and we ended up being late to our snorkeling tour, oops. When looking for activities to do in Iceland, I wanted to do something we couldn’t do anywhere else in the world. Where else can you swim between two tectonic…

    My favorite Coat this Winter

Cannot believe this might be my last winter post! Other than the past few days, the weather has been so nice. I’ve been opening all the windows in the house each morning and enjoying the warmer weather. Colin and I have also been working on the outside of our house to get it ready for summer. We have a lot more work to do but I think it’s looking good! This past winter I wore this coat almost every chance I got. It was definitely one of my favorites. Mostly because it went with everything and added to any look. Linked below my favorite styles this past year that included…

Can Never Go Wrong with Black

Cannot believe I am writing a post on Valentine’s Day and it’s not about Valentine’s! I figured if you haven’t planned anything/gotten a gift yet, you might be a little late! However, if you still need ideas Daryl-Ann’s blog, has some great ideas about what to wear, do, or buy!  It’s getting to that time of year where you have to guess what the temperature outside is going to be. Two days ago it was super warm and I was sweating in a sweater. Yesterday it was freezing! Better to dress in layers and removed throughout the day. Here’s an (almost) all black outfit I wore a few days ago when…

The Perfect Wood Watch for Valentine’s Day

Can you believe that Valentine’s Day is right around the corner? Colin and I will be celebrating our fifth Valentine’s day together. I still cannot believe it has really been that long. I always find Valentines to be the hardest holiday to shop for Colin. I know a million items he would love to receive, but this gift should be meaningful and romantic. Romantic gifts for guys are so hard to come by and I did not want to give him another set of cufflinks, haha. Last year, I remember searching the web for hours to come up with a gift for Colin. Thankfully, we decided to skip the gift…

What’s on my List at 25

Cannot believe I am turning twenty-five tomorrow. Where has the time gone? I don’t even remember turning twenty-three and if you asked, I couldn’t tell you anything that happened that year. I feel like each year is going by quicker and quicker since graduating college. I may be a quarter through my life, but I still don’t look a day over twenty-one. Just ask all the restaurants and bars out there. For this post I thought it would be fun to share items that have been at the top of my personal list for 2018. Most items I added to assist with achieving my goals from my New Years post.…

Iceland Part 3: Fjaðrárgljúfur and Vík

Be sure to check out the rest of our trip to Iceland Part 1  |  Part 2 Day three in Iceland is going to be a long one and filled with GoT locations! We woke up in Vík and headed right out the door. We never saw one of our hotels in daylight and the funny thing is, I paid extra for rooms with a view. Such a waste, but I wasn’t even thinking when I booked the rooms! Our first stop was Fjaðrárgljúfur (I have no clue how to say that out loud). This stop was at the top of my list when planning our trip.  The pictures of Fjaðrárgljúfur…

    Finally, Sweater Weather

This cold weather has seriously come out of no where! I usually don’t mind the cold temperatures and sometimes wish it was colder in the winter. However, these past few days have been frigid! I don’t even want to leave the house. Of course, these images were taken before the temperatures dropped, so there was no need for a coat. I have been stocking up on skirts and sweaters this season, because they mix so well with other items. There is actually a funny story about me trying to order a gray skirt for the past 2 months. I’ve ordered this skirt twice and still don’t have it! The first time,…

    Hello, 2018!

Wow, this year went by fast! Going through and creating this post, I kept asking myself, “That was this year?”. It’s crazy how long ago some memories seem. This year I was able to travel to Mexico, Iceland and a few long weekend trips to Florida and New York. My boyfriend and I was able to buy our first home together, and I started a new job that combined two of my favorite things. I have personally never created resolutions for myself in the new year. However, this coming year there are a few things I hope to change. I’ve listed out my top 4 below. Take better care of…
