Italy Part 3: Tuscany and Florence

Be sure to check out the rest of our trip to Italy
Part 1 – Rome
 | Part 2 – Pompeii and Positano

After our last breakfast on the Amalfi Coast, we packed our car and headed towards Tuscany. We spent most of the day in the car. It took around 6 hours to reach our next airbnb. On the way, we stopped by the Saturnia hot springs. The springs were packed with people, but we had to jump in and experience it for ourselves. I could see myself coming here after work and just relaxing into the night. After the springs, we headed to our airbnb. It was out in the middle of no where on a beautiful working farm. You can find the exact airbnb we stayed in here: Le Sorbelle d’Orcia

When we woke up, we headed to our wine tour. At first, we went to the wrong winery and found the most beautiful road to take photos on. Our wine tour was at Castiglion del Bosco and I could not recommend them enough! This was one of the highlights from our trip.

We didn’t pick up breakfast the night before, so we were starving once we made it to our wine tour. We were given a private tour of the property, then taken to taste some wine. We were also given finger snacks that we ate up quick! After, we headed out to see the vineyards and made our way to Florence.

We ended up being super tired when we arrived at our airbnb in Florence, so we went to the store, bought some ice cream and stayed in for the night. This was the only city I did not plan anything, which was a mistake. We ended up wasting 2 hours standing in line to see David. I usually have everything planned out and tickets purchased before we arrive, but wanted to just wing it in Florence. Total mistake and I will never do that again, haha. We did get to see a lot in the little time we were there though. On the way to our next destination, we stopped in Pisa for a quick photo.
